Expressive Therapies
Expressive Therapies are for everyone. They are an elective and suggestive option during therapeutic appointments and utilized with client consent. Expressive Therapies consist of fluidity between the arts or a focus on one particular modality.
All of our Expressive activities are client-centered to meet you where you are at and how you want to showcase without use of words. You may see us visual art, photography, writing, journaling, poetry, music, lyrics, instruments, improvisation, breathing, yoga, movement/dance, scarves, painting, clay, weaving, collaging, sound, vibration, story-telling, play, & so much more.

Nature Based Therapy
Open to anybody interested in nature or not. We utilize nature as a conduit for the work we are doing and can often bring nature indoors as much as take our appointments outdoors. You may see us use nature in our appointments, groups, workshops, wellness services in a variety of ways
Did you know being outside in nature can actually help you reset your brain and hormones as well as your circadian rythm? Even just a short 15 minutes outdoors every day or looking at nature in the morning, can help with focus and attention throughout your first half of the day.

Grief Counseling
Grief can hit us at any age or time in our life. From life transitions, to medical and developmental changes, to relationships changing. We offer Grief counseling in conjunction with all of our therapies and keep an underlying conscience that human to human connection is important in our work. End of life care or the loss of a loved one can embed itself to deeply and create ripples into our lives. We offer you and your loved ones a space to explore this gentle, name it, contain it and hold it when needed.

Play-based
Kids to Adults! Come play with us in your individual family, couple and group services. We cordially invite you to connect with your inner child. Play is often incorporated in with all of our specialties and can look like playing with toys, movement, Sand Tray, story-telling, dress up, memory lane, and more! Who can deny stomping on bubbles or getting your competitive side going by keep the balloon off the group? At BHCW we believe that laughter, nature, the arts, and connection are the best medicines and soul of the work we do.
Groups, Classes & Workshops
All of our groups, clinical or not have an underlying tone to support social-emotional well being. We focus on a variety of skill building and connection.
